Flash Networks announces the release of NettGain Allegro, providing a unified platform for improving user experience on any device over any bearer.

Barcelona, Spain, February 13, 2006 – Flash Networks announces the release of NettGain Allegro, a major boost to the NettGain product line, providing a unified platform for improving user experience on any device over any bearer. The NettGain 1200, which forms the technological base for the Allegro, has proven successful in 40 live installations worldwide.

Flash Networks is the expert in enhancing mobile data Quality of Experience. The company’s core technology provides dramatic improvements in mobile data quality of experience, providing solutions that answer the needs of operators who provide mobile data as a key part of their strategy. Flash’s current customers include T-Mobile, Orange, Vodafone, and SFR, among others.
The new product supports the widest possible range of mobile devices: handsets, through advanced PDAs, smartphones, and cellular-enabled laptops. The platform provides improved quality of experience for web browsing, email access, and other types of data access over cellular networks.

There’s a boom in the variety of devices being offered, and in the types of content being offered, over the mobile web.” says Liam Galin, CEO of Flash Networks. “People expect to be connected all the time, to the same applications at the office, at home and on the move, regardless of the device they are using at these different locations. The NettGain Allegro provides an outstanding quality improvement for operators who want to ensure a smooth user experience for users on all devices, all bearers, all the time.”

The NettGain solutions by Flash Networks provide web browsing up to seven times faster than networks without NettGain. Over 40 major operators worldwide have successfully implemented the NettGain solution.

NettGain field-proven solutions have shown themselves to be robust and scalable in dozens of live installations worldwide. All traffic passes through the NettGain Allegro system, which uses an intelligent underlying logic to determine the optimal way to process data to create the best possible quality of experience and fastest perceived response time from the network. NettGain Allegro provides support for web, portal, email and other types of content on the mobile web.

The revolutionary improvement in the NettGain system comes from its underlying intelligence and real-time decision making capabilities,” said Yair Shapira, Flash Networks’ CTO. “The system is aware of network conditions and has deep insight and logic in the area of applications, so the user simply gets the best possible service at any given time for any given type of data.”
NettGain Allegro is fully backward-compatible with the NettGain 1200 line, providing improved user experience and optimization for:

PC data cards enabling laptop users to connect to the Internet through the cellular network.
