The agreement is the first in a series of European deals for Flash Networks, which recently made inroads into the North American market with its strategic partnership with AT&T Wireless. Under the terms of today’s agreement, Radiolinja will integrate Flash Networks’ NettGain™ System into its network, enabling mobile users to enjoy a desktop-quality Internet experience. Flash Networks will also work with Radiolinja to provide optimization solutions for Radiolinja’s Wireless corporate customers. The long-term agreement includes full maintenance and future purchase orders that are expected to generate millions of dollars.
“We are delighted to introduce our mobile network capacity and performance solution to the European market,” said Ziki Peled, CEO of Flash Networks. “By fusing NettGain™ System Solution technologies with Radiolinja’s network, mobile Internet users can now achieve a desktop-like Internet experience with their cellular devices: Web pages load faster and e-mail messages transfer more quickly—creating a superior wireless Web experience for Radiolinja’s corporate users.”
