Flash Networks today announced that its business and revenues from Asia-Pacific are poised to grow as a result of having added six new distributors.
Flash Networks Awarded Leading Telecoms Accreditation
Flash Networks announced today that it has been awarded with Network Equipment-Building System (NEBS) Level 3 certification for its NettGain™ solutions.
NEBS Level 3 certifies that Flash Networks’ equipment can perform well in the harshest environmental conditions and will not interfere with other electronic devices in an operator’s Central Office. The Telecommunications Carrier Group (TCG), consisting of the leading North American operators, created the NEBS checklist to ensure that the equipment procured was reliable and had minimum downtime in the event of an emergency.
In addition to NEBS certification, Flash Networks has also been certified to the International Standards Organization (ISO)’S ISO 9001:2000 standard. This certification demonstrates that Flash Networks’ solutions meet well-defined levels of quality and consistency and is an effective form of differentiation between suppliers.
“Both certifications are testament to the emphasis we place on delivering high quality, reliable solutions.” commented Liam Galin, President and CEO of Flash Networks. “NEBS Level 3 and ISO certification highlight our continued efforts to raise the bar for product excellence while providing solutions that exceed our customers' expectations.”
The NEBS Level 3 tests were carried out by National Technical Systems (NTS), who provide product testing for compliance. Derek Coppinger, VP of Corporate Development of NTS commented, “The reliability of the equipment that goes into an operator’s Central Office is of vital importance. NEBS certification is an important facet of Flash Networks acceptance in the marketplace.”
