Telkomsel Implements NettGain to Improve Mobile Internet QoE

Flash Networks announced that Telkomsel has implemented NettGain to improve the mobile data user quality of experience over GPRS and UMTS networks.


Amsterdam, July 31, 2007 – Flash Networks, a world leader in mobile data Quality of Experience (QoE) management solutions, today announced that Telkomsel, an Indionesian operator with over 40 million subscribers, has implemented Flash Networks’ NettGain solution to improve the mobile data user quality of experience over GPRS and UMTS networks.

Nettgain delivers a faster, smoother and more consistent browsing experience for handsets and laptops providing operators with increased revenues due to an improved quality of user experience and lower capital and operating expenses due to a reduced network load. Strategically located on the main traffic route and overseeing 100% of data traffic, NettGain applies a variety of optimization mechanisms at the transport, application, and content layers.
