HOLMDEL, N.J. (October 2, 2001) – Flash Networks Inc., a global provider of wireless data infrastructure products, today announced it has deployed wireless data optimization products for AT&T Wireless’ GPRS rollout. NettGain 1100, Flash Networks’ flagship portfolio of client-server and clientless wireless data compression technologies, are being seamlessly integrated into AT&T Wireless’ GSM/GPRS (global system for mobile) platform. AT&T Wireless is deploying its GSM/GPRS platform as part of its evolutionary migration toward third-generation technologies.

“We are delighted that AT&T Wireless has selected us to be part of their GPRS rollout,” said P.K. Prasanna, president, Flash Networks Inc. and Chief Operating Officer. “Our wireless data products are designed to very high standards to meet AT&T’s demanding requirements for high-volume reliable data services. This marks the first large-scale rollout of such optimization technology in GPRS networks worldwide.”

“NettGain 1100 technology provides industry-leading performance improvement and the ability to tightly integrate with carrier operations systems at high volumes, across a variety of devices, which makes our solutions truly compelling as 2.5G and 3G networks are adopted around the world for wireless data services.” said Prasanna.
