Flash's NettGain 1100 Selected to Enhance Performance of Netcom GSM

Netcom and Flash Networks today announced a strategic business alliance agreement that will provide optimized wireless solutions for GPRS wireless users.


Herzelia, Israel (September 10th, 2001) - Netcom GSM and Flash Networks, Ltd., today announced a strategic business alliance agreement that will provide optimized wireless solutions for GPRS wireless users. Under the terms of the agreement, Netcom will integrate Flash Networks’ NettGain™ software into its network, enabling mobile users to enjoy the full, rich experience of the Internet to which they are accustomed. Flash Networks will work with Netcom to provide optimization solutions for Netcom’s Wireless’ Corporate customers.

NettGain™ 1100 provides a three-fold performance boost over native wireless communications. With NettGain™, users will enjoy a boost from 30 Kbps per second to approximately 100-120 Kbps. Users also maintain control over the type and quality of the content they receive. In addition, NettGain™ products integrate with leading VPN vendors to provide secure enterprise solutions.
