Jan 28, 2009 --- Herzlia, Israel, January 28, 2009 – Flash Networks, a global provider of mobile Internet solutions designed to enhance the mobile Web experience, announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held Unipier Ltd., the pioneer of intelligent policy management that provides network operators business flexibility to deliver innovative and personalized data services. Unipier’s intelligent policy management engine enhances Flash Networks’ mobile Internet services gateway with unparalleled business flexibility for service creation and service management. Unipier’s range of supported revenue-generating services, such as promotions, ability to provide premium content offerings, quota management and flexible charging, and mobile advertising, will be added to Flash Networks’ services gateway, making it the richest portfolio of mobile services on the market today. In addition, the integration of the two companies’ capabilities offers operators increased operational efficiency and reduced time to market for new and modified services. A demonstration of the combined technology will be presented at Booth C73 in Hall 7 at GSMA’s Mobile World Congress, February 16-19, 2009, in Barcelona, Spain.
